Founded in 2011 and risen from the ashes of Mindstab, Darqo was born. After some changes in the line-up the band anno 2023 consists of Bjorn (vocals), Thomas (bass), Cisn (guitars), Jonas (Drums) and Tjalle (visuals).
In 2016 the band released their first album ‘NightsInTheScullery’ initially only on wooden USB-sticks, which was limited to 100 pieces and was followed on magenta vinyl. A second release followed, called ‘Tannhauser Gate’ in 2021 and in 2022 their latest full album ‘DawnOfTheMeek’ was released on Polderrecords.
The live shows are extremely intense, heavy and slow. The music embraces you and hypnotizes you as if you were in some kind of a trance …
